Great little Llandaff café, I often come here for take away sandwiches. They have many that are ready made, however they're also quite happy to make up a sandwich or baguette of your own choosing (now matter how random the filling). I would definitely watch out for the queue at lunchtime during the week, the BBC is just down the road, and many of its staff choose to grab their lunch from here.

If you have more time to spare, eating in is certainly an option. I've always been quite a fan of their jacket potatoes, but again be prepared on weekday lunchtimes for a bit of a wait, as they generally focus on customers having food to go.

Here - in or outside - the K2 Coffee House I love to be - and here I am often when I am in Cardiff. I used to live in Cathays and in Llandaff when I cycled to St. Fagans open-air museum where I worked every day. So this became a handy stop with good refreshing drinks and good coffees. I like reading the paper here.
I can recommend the breakfasts. Good choice and good quality. They always have a big selection of speciality teas.

Nice cafe in Llandaff high street. Staff are friendly, breakfasts are affordable and tasty. No complaints.
